J&A plus one on the way!

Our website is very new to me, so I'm having to practice EXTRA patience as I try and familiarize myself with the "ins and outs".

September 22, 2009 was the start of a tremendous change for us....a scary change....a fun change, and a change that is much anticipated, but oh so joyous! This was the day we found out (with the positive home pregnancy test results) that a new love was on the horizon. A few days later, our doctor's appointment confirmed what we already knew, and of course, it took a many hours for reality to "sink in"!

We are thankful beyond measure that God has chosen to bless us with a precious gift...one that so many others in this world never experience and long so deeply for---The gift of a beautiful new life.

The months are already flying by, and our website is a new and exciting way for us to keep family and friends near and far, updated on our progress, by blogs and photos.

Baby Ainsworth is scheduled to make its debut on May 29, 2010--ANOTHER NICE SUPRISE, because that's just three days after my sweet daddy's (a/k/a Pop) birthday! I have a funny for you....As I Christmas shopped with my parents (Hulette & Martha...a/k/a Gran & Pop), favorite sister (Pam), and precious niece (Laura, 12 years old) and nephew (John Hulette, 7 years old) over the weekend, John Hulette's main question was "Have you and Uncle J figured out what the baby is yet?" FIGURED OUT....How cute and innocent is that? Laura and John Hulette are so very excited that a new baby is on the way, AND I'm so excited that it will be during a time they are out of school for summer break! It will be a wonderful experience for both of them, and of course, I will have two wonderful helpers. After all, it has been 7 years since a baby has entered the Moore family.

I can't believe Thanksgiving week is already here. This year will be bittersweet for Jason and me, as we put up our Christmas tree on Thanksgiving night together, for the very LAST time. Next year and all the years following, will be a new set of sparkling eyes and tiny fingers, that are constantly mezmerized by the beauty of a Christmas tree and all of its enticing "pretties". Although next year Baby Ainsworth will of course be too young to understand, but regardless, you can bet our household will start the tradition, and leave Santa milk & cookies! I still believe in Santa without a doubt....I mean, when you look through a child's eyes how can you not? Right?

I hope everyone has a Thanksgiving full of blessings, love and a satisfied tummy full of turkey and pie!

Please pray for us as we embark on this uncharted adventure called PARENTHOOD, that will make our life together even more worthwhile!

P.S. Oh yea! Our next doctor's appointment is December 1st. This will be the last appointment before we "figure out" the gender of Baby Ainsworth! We should know the week of/week after Christmas......post us your comments on what YOU think Baby A will be, because once again, in the famous words of John Hulette, he thinks "it's either going to be a little girl OR a little boy"! So sweet....I bet so too! But his soon-to-be teenage sister's response to his comment was...."Uhhh...yea John Hulette. Ya think?" Children make the world go round....don't they? Nevermind...they really make life worth living.
